How It Works
Super Teaching produces an educational "pattern roll" behind live instructors, and in distance learning, using three screens that upgrades class room design, and reinforces impressions for educational content. The pattern formula includes live faculty, student learners,, faculty information from doc cameras or computers (net power point or other medium) or any AV source including plug and play, and ST proprietary nature scenes that help the brain turn on record, during the rest intervals nature scenes are featured. UAH is conducting ongoing research with a growing number of educational institutions seeking to UPGRADE their classrooms to the Super Teaching model.
The ST pattern produces redundant information reinforcement that elevates whole brain memory, in both brain hemispheres (cortex long term storage), assuring higher retention by all learner groups. The performance gains are dramatic, immediate, and impressive once classrooms are upgraded.
UAH is constantly working at bringing the cost of installation lower for public education. ST can be installed in three weeks at your location using your existing hardware, when you upload your drivers via the ST Living Laboratory project (open source software) in collaboration with the University of Alabama in Huntsville. (superteaching@uah.edu for program details). Also contact Mark Moorehead, ST project director, at 256-824-6540 or mark@uah.edu.
ST Heavy Systems are available for convention and larger venue applications as required. ST Lite lower cost systems are available for traditional size classrooms worldwide. UAH is opening discussions with the United Nations under the NO NATION LEFT BEHIND INITIATIVE to offer the prestige of the leading classroom upgrade technology to developing nations worldwide.
Performance gains are immediate. Super Teaching works by speeding up classroom learning using existing curriculum for any learning mission. Super Teaching is designed to elevate performance for learning by stimulating greater depth of brain field impressions in more brain locations than is possible with classrooms not equipped with ST. Memory impressions are deeper and longer lasting when classrooms are upgraded with ST technology, thus improving learner performance.
The following sequence outlines ST in the classroom as a hypothetical visual modeling exercise:
ST CLASSROOM - AS YOU WALK IN......
-
Learners enter the classroom to classical music with different nature scenes on all three Super Teaching screens.
-
Software "pattern roll controlled by ST software" changes the image patterns.
-
Faculty push one icon and their own image appears on all three screens
-
Software and ST controlled PATTERNS rotate screen information to include faculty, random learners’ faces, nature scenes, and faculty data.
-
Doc cams automatically sense faculty writing or presentation of material, focus, with interactive image patterns that vary the visual information to all three screens, as software continues to manage ST PATTERN ROLL to maximize whole brain learning. ST software integrates all digital plug and play systems into one classroom learning technology, and controls the multi-media, so the educator can focus on the learner without paying attention to the tech.
-
Faculty may, at an icon push, freeze the process–add in DVD–Distance Learning–the Internet–Power Point–VHS–CD–or any support input information from any plug and play device. Live on-web demonstrations convey virtual tours of the system and are available overnight on interactive CDs. (Email bj@ceospace.net).
-
Faculty may use interactive wireless pop quiz and learner feedback subroutines to employ ST's proven three screen virtual “real estate” to present more student participation data and feedback in less time. Every objective of a computer lab area can be realized inside a Super Teaching classroom for less cost with higher test score results.
-
Faculty and students love ST and a positive attitude soars inside ST classrooms. Faculty maintains eye contact with learners and can teach: the tech invisibly , and via automation , supporting every step from Distant learning to faculty desired Multi-Media support when and where the faculty desires it. ST uses your content, not ours.
-
Super Teaching is easy to use. No faculty retraining or skill is required to operate the system.
-
Learners retain more and performance gains occur immediately, as verified by test results.
-
Up to 11 Learning disorders are normalized in the ST classroom - and school systems retain learner revenue and the joy of seeing problem learners perform.
-
ST Automation place faculty in total control of the learning process. Faculty can preset, modify pacing, or override anything anytime with just a touch of the screen.
Circulating information on this site by email to your decision teams may speed up your ST installation. UAH is the exclusive LSA contractor for ST installations worldwide under a technology transfer license. Sub licenses for your project are coordinated with UAH and its contractor MSA of Huntsville at the superteaching.uah.edu site. Email superteaching@uah.edu with requests for information.
